Meet the Founder & Chief Positivity Officer of

Wellevate Experiences

Kelly Bishop
CMM, CMP & Certified Wellness Counselor

I have been given an incredible opportunity to reinvent my career and follow my passion of helping others be their best self through positive wellness experiences, coaching, motivation & accountability.

Through understanding my strengths and most importantly passions around people, I have created a business to help individuals, teams and companies create top notch culture and happy employees.

Together with my wellness certification and my 25 years of global event leadership expertise and hospitality, I am helping companies strategize, consult and elevate high end corporate wellness experiences through events around the world. My newly created company is Wellevate Experiences; PickPositive LLC.

Why Wellevate Experiences?

I think we can do better to take time to take care of ourselves; drink more water, eat healthier, workout, give gratitude and appreciation to others, be more mindful, do things that make us happy and Pick Positive.

Through the years of my global travel, the one thing I learned was that not many people worked out or even took time for themselves and left conferences and events feeling exhausted.

I was one of those people that would leave something behind just to pack my running shoes. It always helped with my day’s energy, positivity and mental state - it put me in a place ready to tackle any challenge that could arise during the day. That is why I am here, to help others be their favorite self and ready for anything.

Impactful Experiences

Throughout my 25 years of experience planning global events — whether an incentive program on the Sydney Opera House stage, an Olympic-inspired incentive with Legacy Olympians or a Red Carpet Hollywood experience — they all have two things in common:

  • Drive: My drive to strategically create an elevated experience for attendees that would leave them feeling 1000% dedicated, motivated and proud to work at their respective company — that they were taken care of like no other company ever could or would.

  • Strategy: The strategy behind the event is designed to generate further revenue, growth and happy, engaged employees.

I Pick Positive

What does Pick Positive mean you ask? (You will hear me reference it often). Pick Positive is choosing the mindset decision to turn the challenge or disruptive experience into a positive one – choose to find the good in every situation and learn from it.

Pick Positive is the mindset that helped guide and motivate me to create Wellevate Experiences

After my job elimination of 15 years as a leader within a Fortune 100 company, our COVID puppy passed away of an unthinkable accident and I had major sports injury that was said to have a “brutal recovery” (all within 4 months of each other). I needed to move forward and made the decision to Pick Positive.

I took all my responsibilities from my career that I loved doing on a daily basis. Coaching others to be their best & creating magical experiences are part of my daily happiness.

I also have a passion for well-being, positivity, happiness, and incredible authentic “feel good” energy. Meld my passions together, and here I am, Chief Positivity Officer! I Pick Positive! Do you?

I have trained, held myself accountable, dug deep internally, was supported by friends & family to successfully finish 5 marathons & 1 1/2 Ironman to include:

  • Rock & Roll San Diego

  • Chicago

  • Marine Corps in D.C.

  • Boston

  • New York City

  • Firman ½ Ironman Triathlon in Narragansett, RI

We can’t do feats like this alone!

A support team is a MUST!

Endurance Experiences

Me

I am powered by helping others be their best. I love playing sports and being active. Being active has always been a huge part of who I am.

I enjoy golf, tennis, snowboarding, Peloton workouts, and cheering for my kids along side my husband in all their activities.

They love to compete in Irish step dance, hockey, golf, tennis, baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse. As a family we ski, snowboard and play golf.

This crew right here, is my heart and soul - I am their biggest fan and cheerleader!

I believe in giving back to the community, either coaching kids in soccer & lacrosse or teaching classrooms about DEI. I also am a supporter of helping feed others.

Good Sports is a special organization to me because it helps get kids less fortunate into the game. Sports help teach us how to:

  • embrace sportsmanship

  • be gritty

  • cheer for others

  • show up for ourselves

Being a part of youth sports, translates to the work world and strongly helps shape individuals. Sports has been a huge part of my family’s world - this is an area I can help others. I proudly ran the NYC Marathon to raise money for Good Sports and serve on the Host Gala Committee.
